This research is a cross sectional study and the sample is 155 members of the family with tuberculosis selected by purposive sampling. The results of the study showed OR value = 3,385 which means that the performance variables of good nurses have a chance / opportunity 3 times for prevention efforts of tuberculosis which is good compared to the performance of nurses who are not well controlled by family independence. The conclusion of this study is the importance of improving the performance of nurses of public health centers as health workers who meet directly with families both in terms of quality and capability.
