PENDAMPINGAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI DALAM PENCEGAHAN KEHAMILAN YANG TIDAK DIINGINKAN PADA WANITA USIA SUBUR

Abstract

Women of childbearing age in the target survey results are women who are married and plan to use contraception or become family planning acceptors. A woman's age is also a target in determining an appropriate and safe pregnancy for the sake of women's reproductive health readiness to prevent unwanted pregnancies or high-risk pregnancies. The existence of knowledge and a low level of education is one of the factors that influences women's understanding of choosing a type of contraception that is safe to use. Therefore, it is important for health workers, especially midwives, to carry out community service movements at the Karuwisi Makassar Community Health Center regarding contraceptives. The method used in assisting the community is by conducting outreach and demonstrations regarding contraceptives. Apart from that, this activity also carries out health checks such as checking vital signs, pulse, temperature and breathing in the community. The aim of this activity is to increase community enthusiasm in participating in each activity, excellent support from community leaders and increase community knowledge in the use of contraceptives.
