Edukasi Masyarakat Tentang Faktor Resiko Stroke Usia Muda Di Kel. Balleanging, Kec. Balocci, Kab. Pangkajene Kepulauan

Abstract

Background The prevalence of stroke in young adults is dramatically increasing for high and middle and low income countries representing a global challenge. This is no exception in South Sulawesi, specifically in Balleaning Village, Pangkep Regency. Low knowledge of the community/residents in Kel. Balleaning Baloci District in 2023, regarding health prevention in the population regarding risk factors for stroke from a young age from data obtained from community health centers who have unhealthy habits which are included in the high risk group for stroke. So it is concluded that the population does not understand the dangers and risk factors for stroke at a young age. METHOD, providing assistance to the community such as providing education about health and risk factors for stroke at a young age. RESULTS: The expected results are in accordance with the plan where participants are able to understand the risk factors for stroke at a young age.
