Abstract

Evaluation of prescription writing aims to prevent writing errors and inappropriate drug selection for certain individuals. Some prescribing problems that are still encountered include incomplete writing of information about patients, doctor's identity, writing in prescriptions that are unclear or/difficult to read, and the absence of a doctor's signature or initials on the prescription. This study aims to evaluate the completeness of the prescription for outpatient BPJS patients at RSUD Prof. Dr. H. M. Anwar Makkatutu, Bantaeng Regency for the period January-March 2021, administratively and pharmaceutically.This research is a non-experimental research with an observational method with a retrospective descriptive research design. The sample used in this study was 99 recipes. The data are presented in tabular form and analyzed using the guidelines of the Minister of Health No. 72 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Hospitals.The results of the study showed that the percentage of completeness based on administration was 0%, while in pharmacy it was 43.43%. The completeness of the prescription in this study did not meet the requirements according to Permenkes No. 72 of 2016 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Hospitals.
