One of the nonpharmacological management of labor pain is the deep breath relaxation technique. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of breath relaxation on reducing the intensity of labor pain in phase I in the working area of the Ponrang Health Center, Luwu Regency. The research method is Pre Experiment with one group ore test and post test design. The population in this study were all participating mothers in the Ponrang District Health Work Area of Luwu Regency from April to July as many as 192 people. The sample in this study were mothers inpartu with kala I as many as 38 people. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. Data collection through primary data and secondary data. Data were processed using SPSS 24 version and presented in the form of tables and frequency distributions. The results of the research related to the effectiveness of deep breath relaxation on reducing the intensity of labor pain in the first stage of labor obtained a value (p-Value =.0001 <0.05). There is an effectiveness of deep breath relaxation on reducing the intensity of labor pain in kala I. </em></p>2024-02-27T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ojs.iikpelamonia.ac.id/index.php/Garuda/article/view/519Kandungan Madu Hutan Kalimantan Sebagai Potensi dalam Mencegah Stunting Pada Daerah Pesisir2024-03-21T09:45:14+00:00Annisa Eka Permatasariaekapermatasari@borneo.ac.idRirin Ariyantiririn_ariyanti@borneo.ac.idNurrahmi Umaminurrahmiumami@borneo.ac.idIdha Farahdibaidha.farahdiba@borneo.ac.idEmmasitah Emmasitahemmasitah@gmail.com<p><em>Background : Stunting in Indonesia is still in the spotlight of nutritional problems among children under five which are caused by inadequate nutritional intake over a long period of time. Objective: This study aims to determine the chemicals content in forest honey from Borneo. This research is a laboratory research. The sample used in the study was honey from Apis dorsata. Examination used in the form of Liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometry and Phytochemical Test to see saponin, tannin, flavonoid, alkaloid, terpenoid, steroid and phenolic using chemical solutions on honey. This research was conducted in the Integrated Fishery Products Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Borneo Tarakan and ELSA Laboratory, Center for Food Technology and Processing, Serpong National Innovation Research Agency. Result: Phytochemical tests using Pb(CH3COO)2, HCl and FeCl3 reagent solutions, it was found flavonoids, saponin, tannins and phenol. On the other side, the LC MS/MS test results indicate the existence of a phenolic structure that belongs to the flavonoid group and phenolic acids.  Conclusion: We conclude that forest honey from Borneo contains flavonoids and polyphenols which have antioxidant effects so that it has the potential to prevent stunting.</em></p>2024-02-27T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ojs.iikpelamonia.ac.id/index.php/Garuda/article/view/544Gambaran Penggunaan Kontrasepsi Pada Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) di Kota Tarakan Kalimantan Utara2024-03-21T09:45:14+00:00Nur Aisyah Lailynuraisyahlaily@borneo.ac.idReza Bintangdari Johanbintangjohan@borneo.ac.idIdha Farahdibaidha.farahdiba@borneo.ac.id<p style="font-weight: 400;"><em>Family Planning (KB) is an effort to regulate the birth of children, the distance and ideal age of childbirth, and regulate pregnancy through promotion, protection, and assistance by reproductive rights to realize a quality family. Stroke has an impact on the bleeding system in the brain which causes dysfunction of the brain related to diseases of the blood vessels that supply blood to the brain and if left untreated will cause death, to overcome this by doing slow stroke back massage therapy. Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe the application of slow stroke back massage therapy in fulfilling the need for comfort (pain) in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. Methods: The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a case study approach in 2 samples with impaired comfort (pain) in non-hemorrhagic strokes by means of interviews and questions and answers where this application is carried out 3 days in 2 times a day. Results: The results for both respondents showed that there was a decrease in blood pressure and pain on the third day for Tn.S from 180/90nmmHg with a pain scale of 4 to 162/90 with a pain scale of 3 and for Mr.A from 201/1106 mmHg with a pain scale 4 to 186/98 mmHg with a pain scale of 2. During hospitalization, children experience appetite disorders due to discomfort in the oral cavity such as a bitter taste, so that children are at risk of malnutrition and the time of the hospitalization process is getting longer. One of the nutritional management that can be done to overcome this discomfort is to perform oral hygiene treatment using saline solution. <strong>Purpose, </strong>To find out how the application of oral hygiene saline solution in meeting nutritional needs in children with hospitalization. <strong>Methodes</strong>, The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a case study approach. <strong>Results</strong>, It was found that there were differences in the level of appetite of the two respondents in fulfilling nutritional needs in children. Where An. AA said that she had no interest in eating and the portion of food seemed intact or nothing was consumed and An. AP said that she had little interest in eating and the portion of food appeared to be almost intact (± 1 tablespoon consumed), while after being given oral hygiene saline solution therapy An. AA said enough interest in eating and appeared to have 3⁄4 portion of food waste, and An. AP said interest in eating and appeared to have 1⁄4 portion of leftovers. <strong>Conclusions, </strong>Oral hygiene saline solution therapy can improve the appetite of children who experience appetite disorders due to oral discomfort and bitter taste.</span></p>2024-02-26T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
