Abstract

Immunization is primary prevention of infectious diseases that is very precise and affordable in protecting individuals not only from serious diseases but also from infectious diseases. The factors of knowledge and family support, especially the husband, are very important in this case. This research uses a quantitative descriptive design with a cross sectional method. The population in this study were all mothers who had children aged 0-12 months in the working area of ​​the Patilaggio Community Health Center and the sample in this study was 120 people who met the inclusion criteria, namely being willing to be respondents, having babies 0-12 months and residing in the Patilaggio Community Health Center area. taken using accidental sampling technique. The instrument in the research on the relationship between level of knowledge used the Level of Knowledge questionnaire and husband's support using the husband's support questionnaire and the chi-square test P Value = 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained, which means that there is a relationship between the level of mother's knowledge and husband's support regarding basic immunization with compliance with administration. Basic immunization for babies 0-12 months in the Patilanggio Community Health Center working area. About basic immunization with compliance with basic immunization administration for babies 0-12 months in the working area of ​​the Patilanggio Community Health Center. Therefore, it is hoped that this research can increase socialization about basic immunization.
