Analisis Hubungan Obesitas Dengan Kejadian Preeklampsia Sebagai Faktor Risiko Kegawatdaruratan Maternal

Background: Preeclampsia is a disease with signs of hypertension, edema, and proteinuria that arise due to pregnancy, this disease generally occurs in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy, but can occur before, for example in mola hidatidosa. Risk factors for preeclampsia include primigravida, age, family history of preeclampsia/eclampsia, and obesity Objective: To find out if there is a relationship between obesity and preeclampsia in pregnant women. Methods: using a quantitative method with a cross-sectional descriptive study design using 52 samples of medical records of pregnant women at the Siti Fatimah Mother and Child Regional Special Hospital (Rskd) as a research sample. Results: Based on the results of the study using the Fisher Exact alternativ test, obtained with a value of p = 0.001 and a value of α = 0.05, the hypothesis of h1 was accepted and ho was rejected that there was a relationship between obesity and preclimacy in pregnant women. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between obese pregnant women and preeclampsia in pregnant women. Suggestion: For the next researcher, it is expected to use various research techniques and study variables related to preeclampsia in pregnant women.
