Hubungan Status Gizi dengan Derajat Pneumonia pada Anak Balit

Abstract

Background: Pneumonia is an acute respiratory infection which is the most common cause of death in
children under five in the world, especially in developing countries. One of the risk factors for pneumonia
in toddlers is inadequate or poor nutritional status. Method This type of research is Descriptive Analytical
with a Cross Sectional Study research design carried out at the Mamajang Community Health Center
with the population in this study being 30 children under five using total sampling. Results: The research
results showed that the Chisquare statistical test showed that the education value was ρ = 0.029 (ρ <
α= 0.05), meaning that there was a relationship between nutritional status and pneumonia. Conclusion:
there was a relationship between nutritional status and the degree of pneumonia in children under five.
