Analisis Hubungan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja dengan Upaya Pencegahan Penyebaran Virus Covid-19 di Rumah Sakit Khusus Daerah Dadi Makassar

Abstract

Background. The spread of the Covid-19 Virus can be infected with the Virus caused by human factors
(personnel) where during close personal contact (touching or shaking hands) or splashes when coughing and
sneezing through the nose or mouth. Aim. This research aims to Knowing the relationship between occupational
safety and health and efforts to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 Virus in Indonesia Regional Special Hospital
Dadi Makassar in 2021. Method. The type of research used is quantitative research with a cross sectional
research design, with the number of respondents as many as 251 hospital workers. The data was collected
through the distribution of questionnaires directly to the respondents. Data analysis is done by using the chis
square test. Results. The results showed that there was a significant relationship with prevention of spread,
including risk control p = 0.000, risk communication p = 0.010, proactive worker health monitoring p = 0.000 with
preventing the spread of the Covid-19 Virus, while there was no relationship between occupational risk
assessment and p value = 0.128 with the spread of the Covid-19 Virus. It is recommended to hospitals to pay
more attention to virus prevention for workers to provide good comfort for workers at work
