Hubungan Sanitasi Makanan Di Rumah Dengan Kejadian Diare Pada Anak Usia Sekolah Di SD Inpres Tamangapa Kelurahan Tamangapa Kecamatan Manggala
Abstract
Background: Diarrhea is a major problem in developing countries, including Indonesia. Diarrhea can last
several days and can result in dehydration of water and salts necessary for survival. The aim of this
research is to determine the relationship between food sanitation at home and the incidence of diarrhea in
school-aged children at SD Inpres Tamangapa, Tamangapa Village, Manggala District, Makassar City in
2023. This research uses a cross-sectional design. Sampling used purposive sampling technique, with a
total sample of 154 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and analyzed using
the chi square test. Shows that there is a relationship between food sanitation at home and the incidence
of diarrhea in school-age children at SD Inpres Tamangapa, Tamangapa Village, Manggala District,
Makassar City in 2020, because respondents who have good food sanitation at home are more likely not
to experience diarrhea.
