Background: One of the relaxation therapies that can lower blood pressure and prevent complications
due to hypertension is soaking your feet in warm water. Soaking your feet in warm water can make blood
circulation smooth because of conduction where heat transfer occurs from warm water to the body so it will
help improve blood circulation by widens the blood vessels so that the oxygen supply will increase to all
body tissues and the body's organs can work well. Method: This type of research is quantitative research
with a quasi pre-experiment research design with one group pre-test post-test design carried out in the
work area and a sample size of 15 people using consecutive sampling techniques. Results: The results of
the study showed that the Chisquare statistical test showed that there was a significant difference in systolic
blood pressure before and after the warm water foot soak intervention. As for the Asymp value. Sig. (2-
tailed) = 0.01 so the p value < 0.05 means there is an effect of giving a warm water foot soak on changes
in systolic blood pressure in hypertensive sufferers, value Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.01 so the p value <
0.05 means there is an effect of giving a warm water foot soak on changes in diastolic blood pressure in
hypertensive sufferers. Conclusion: Warm water foot soaks affect the reduction of systolic and diastolic
blood pressure in people with hypertension
