Abstract

One of the problems that will be faced by patients undergoing fracture surgery is anxiety, where the patient will experience psychological changes. If it is not treated quickly, the patient will not be emotionally ready to face surgery and will delay the operation. The aim is to provide an overview of the application of murottal Al-Qur'an therapy in reducing anxiety levels in preoperative fracture patients. Method, this research uses a descriptive research method with a case study approach that will be carried out in this research, namely the application of murottal al-Qur'an therapy in meeting psychosocial needs (anxiety) in pre-operative fracture patients. As a result, the application of murottal therapy of the Qur'an surah al-fatihah, al-ikhlas, al-falaq, an-nas and verses of Kursi which was carried out for 1 day with a duration of 4-5 minutes showed that Mrs. M and Mrs. S experienced a decrease in the APAIS scale.
