Heart failure is a chronic disease of the cardiovascular system that most often occurs in people, especially in urban areas. Therefore, this study examines the impact of ongoing education and training programs on the quality of life of heart failure patients. Method: This quasi-experimental study was carried out from March to April 2022. A total of 44 respondents were diagnosed with heart failure and treated at the Pelamonia Makassar hospital. Respondents were recruited using purposive sampling techniques and divided into two groups. The intervention group (n=22) received ongoing training, including teaching, counselling sessions and phone calls for 2 months. The control group (n=22) received a routine maintenance program. Quality of life data was collected using The World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL) Questionnaire. Measurements are carried out before and after the action. Results: Statistical tests showed significant differences in physical and emotional dimensions and total quality of life in the intervention group. However, in the control group, no significant differences were obtained. There is no significant relationship between demographic characteristics and quality of life. Conclusion: Ongoing education and training programs effectively improve heart failure patients' quality of life. Therefore, implementing continuing education programs as non-pharmacological interventions can help improve patients' quality of life.
