Abstract

Background: In 2020 from 34 provinces, out of 4,656,382 pregnant women whose upper arm circumference (LiLA) was measured, it was known that around 451,350 pregnant women had LilA < 23.5 cm (experiencing the risk of CED). The percentage of pregnant women at risk of CED is 9.7%, while the 2020 target is 16%. Knowledge about the intake of nutritious food for pregnant women and the culture that preserves certain dietary restrictions for pregnant women are still obstacles. Objective: To describe the knowledge of pregnant women about nutrition during pregnancy at the Posyandu Nemalinga and Posyandu Matahari in the Mapane Health Center Work Area. Research method: This type of research is descriptive. Population : All pregnant women in Posyandu Nemalinga and Posyandu Matahari are 41. Sample : Total Sampling. Research Results: Knowledge of pregnant women about nutrition in pregnancy who have good knowledge is the age group of 21-30 years, namely 50.0%, college education, 85.7%, and civil servant/honorary occupations 80.0%. Suggestion: For related health workers in the Work Area of ​​the Mapane Health Center to provide more services and counseling regularly and continuously optimally about nutrition in pregnancy, especially those with low educational backgrounds so that they can increase knowledge and reduce the high risk of pregnancy.
