Overview of the Nursing Process of Patients with Severe Capitis Trauma with Impaired Activity Needs

Abstract

Background, head injury or head trauma is one of the most cases of death today because the head is the most important thing in humans. in the last 6 months of 2012 the number of patients who died in the Pelamonia Hospital Emergency Unit was 46 people, while in 2018 until now there were 304 cases. The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of nursing care in severe trauma capitis  patients with impaired activity needs. The method used in this research is descriptive observational, namely data collection through interviews, observations, and assessment of activity needs disorders. The results showed that the two participants experienced differences in motor function abilities from the second day to the third day of implementation, Mr "K" experienced an increase in motor function from 2 (not antigravity) to 4 (moderate weakness) while Mr "A" did not experience any changes. motor function 2 (not antigravity). In conclusion, from the results of the study of impaired activity needs in patients Mr "K" experienced an increase in activity while Mr "A" did not experience a change in increased activity.
